Dilution: To dilute the oils, choose base oil which is the best choice for diluting essential oils, common ones are sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil and so on and mix with these pet oils. For any essential oil that may be safe, a dilution of 0.5%–1% is recommended for pets. This equates to 1 drop of essential oil per 2 teaspoons (10 ml) of carrier oil (e.g., coconut or olive oil) for a 0.5% dilution. For smaller pets or those with sensitive skin, dilute further to 0.25% (1 drop per 4 teaspoons of carrier oil).

When using essential oils, please make sure that your pet will not accidentally ingest them or come into contact with sensitive areas such as the eyes and seek medical attention if the pet feels unwell.
